Welcome to the Transylvanian Inn, dear traveller. I'm Laura, your host, and I'd like to share the story of our inn—a place designed to feel like home for every guest. This belief is woven into every detail of our philosophy, ensuring comfort and warmth for all who visit.

Our journey began over 20 years ago, when my sister Alina longed for the essence of home after years abroad. She envisioned an inn reminiscent of our grandmother's fairy tales—where guests enjoy comforting meals, cozy beds, a book on the bedside table, and delightful conversations just like in those nostalgic grandmother’s stories.

Initially, it was just a dream. However, that dream took roots and flourished over time. After our dad searched for the perfect place for over a year, he discovered this enchanting location in Predeluț-Bran and embarked on the adventure of creating our dream inn.

In 2006, with invaluable help from our father—whose unwritten mission was to help us in fulfilling our dreams—we opened the doors to the Transylvanian Inn. This place, dreamt up and imagined all those years back, offers a warm and inviting ambiance akin to the places you’ve subconsciously longed for. Here, the majestic Bucegi Mountains and Dracula Castle provide a breathtaking backdrop to your stay.

Our inn, much like those in grandmother's tales, offers delicious, love-infused meals made with locally sourced ingredients. You can retreat to our tower library—a nod to our storybook inspirations—to recharge with a good book. With over 400 volumes for all ages and tastes, our collection continues to grow, ensuring that every mood and every visitor will find a book that speaks to them. As Plato wisely stated, a house with a library truly has a soul.
